Taximeter Raid in Jakarta Intensified

For the sake of public transport users’ safety, the Jakarta Cooperatives, Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises and Trade (KUKMP) Department held a taximeter raid in the capital.

Relaying on beritajakarta.com's data, the raid is held on Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur, Gambir, Central Jakarta and Jalan Boulevard, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta. Using a rolltester device, the officers managed to check 25 taxis from various professional taxi operators. But there is not found any violation.
